Hi,
I'm currently using a mitsumi CD-ROM and (using an mtmcdd.sys driver +
mscdex) and i'm having lots of problems:
– First , I've had problems with my hard drives : each time i try to test
the drives with the norton calibrate i get a disk mapping problem .
then i've downloaded a utility to help solve the problem , and the
diagnostic told me that my CD-ROM signature was mscd000 and what i had in
my config and autoexec was mscd001 ; so i went back and changed those
drivers into mscd000 ; the problem dissapeared ….
But my biggest problem is windows ….
Windows has been acting pretty strange lately ….
I'm currently using norton desktop for windows and when i access the system
information module and ask for a hard drive information , windows will
block or exits … Not to mention several unexplained and brutal sutdowns
…..
one more thing , i have a sound blaster , and i would like to play an
audio CD using the line-in option , so far all my efforts to connect it it
that particular fassion have failed …..
