I doubt it. If the 1080 is just an earlier version of the 1084, it's a fixed
scan rate monitor. The scan rate is 15.7 kHz (horizontal), the same as NTSC
(American) TV and video. The old CGA computer standard used 15.7 kHz, but that
is pretty much obsolete.
The 1084 supports both Y/C and composite video, making it a good monitor for
video applications. Perhaps your 1080 can serve likewise.
