Help !! Wacom + OPAL
5 messages in this thread
Greetings,
I have got hold of a loan Wacom Tablet unit (SD422E) from a Wacom Dealer. I am
trying to hook up the Table to my A4000 running the OPAL VISION and I am
encountering problems.
1) I followed the instruction about installing the Wacom Driver using the
Installation disks form OPAL VISION.
2) After installing the Wacom driver I went into prefference and click on the
Wacom Icon.
3) I proceed to setup the "SET WORK AREA". I click the Icon "Set Work Area" and
I can hear the Wacom Tablet beep twice. The instruction on screen is to
define the Lowest possible Right corner for the work area. I use the Wacom Pen
to touch the Tablet but nothing happens.
4) I keep on pressing the pen in differnt area of the Table but still nothing
happens. I use the mouse to click on the button "Set work Area" but this
aborts the "Set Work Area" action.
I can't set up the Tablet at all. The info in the OPAL manual is not much help
at all.
Do I need a special Serial Cable for the Wacom Tablet ? Can someone provide
the exact pin out for the Wacom to Amiga serial cable ?
Have I been doing something wrong ? Am I missing something ?

Try thier calling thier Buliten Board and downloading the latest
software driver. The older ones <I think> dont work properly with 040s and
some excelrators.
