Murray, Thanks for your reply. I took your advice and ran FDISK from within PC-TASK. I could only get it to show me the disk (actually a file emulating a disk) I already had set up as the C: drive. I could not figure out how to "see" any other partitions. I have actually moved all of my "Amiga" files from my original 120M Seagate drive over to my new 515M Western Digital drive and thought I would just use the Seagate drive as an MS-DOS drive. But I can't seem to get FDISK to see it. Any suggestions? Also, now that I've configured the Western Digital drive to be my "primary" Amiga drive, I seem to have uncovered another problem: When I perform a cold boot I get a "Please insert Workbench Disk" screen. From there I can do a warm boot (CTRL-LAMIGA-RAMIGA) and my new drive will boot fine. I suspect that the problem is that the drive does not spin up in sufficient time for the computer to see it during cold boot. Is there a way to make the computer wait longer before assuming the hard drive does not exist? Anybody ever run across this problem before? Is there a solution? It seems silly to have to keep my smaller drive as a boot only device! Thanks for your help! Dan Wolfson
