Yost Group, Thaks for the information on the visca card driver. But on the HP PC problem, we are not using a framebuffer. To give the information again: HP Vectra 486-66 32 Mb RAM 420 Mb Hard drive HP Ultra VGA card Local Bus Problem: When we render a flic with a resolution of 640X480 or higher, then ty to view it in 3DS the machine reboots. However, we can play itin ANIPLAY fine. If you have heard of this problem or any one has a solution I would appreciate a response

Kevin, I've had a similar problem with a HP machine. This one didn't reboot but turned the display to garbage and locked up when I used vue image. The work round was to render something using 3D Studio before I attempted to use the view image command. I didn't have to do this every time I used vue, only before using it first time in a 3DS session.

As Ian said, he's had similar problems with the HP Vectra. If there's a problem with the way that machine is initializing it's VGA card, that could happen. You might wait to see if you can get it working right with the in-line loadable flic drivers supplied by Vibrant that come with 3DSr3. Those give you more flexibility regarding how you address the card (compared to the limited VESA driver in R2).
