I guess you figured out by now that I chickened out on the
HI-8. I got the SVO9600PRO, Targa + and Animax controller. Nice
combination. Of course this is the only frame accurate deck I have
ever worked with so I cannot really compare it to anything else, gee,
I guess that means in my mind there is no comparison, Heh. Anyway, it
was a headache getting it all together, I got wrapped in the middle
of the Sony Syndrome. The dealer did keep his word about not jacking
up the price. I still wish I had bought it from a Forum dealer
though, but this "other" guy convinced me that he could get it to me
faster, he could not. Oh well, I will stick with the forum from now
on, (as long as I can afford a telephone that is). I can't complain
now, it all works beautifully, and I am only going to be about four
days over my deadline for a project.
