#Creating Wipes in T-REXX

Got T-REXX to do batch rendering and other neat stuff. Noticed that
it can be used to create new wipes for the switcher. The only paint
program I have now is ToasterPaint and it will not work to create the
files needed to create the ANIM files needed by T-REXX to create a
new wipe. I have been told that DPAINT is the way to go (about $100)
any comments? Any PD paint programs that might help?
Is there any PD software here (or anywhere) that will convert my
toaster anims to the anim format that T-REXX needs to see? It also
does not look like T-REXX can create the KikiBell (Where she uses her
wand) or the SpaceFighter (Color Ship Flies By) effects? What can?
There are no programs out that will create or modify the DVE or
Multi-colored effects. We'll still have to wait for that one 🙁
DPaint is a great tool, in the top 10 must-have programs for DTV. I
think that all paint programs are compared to Deluxe Paint.
I don't think that there are any programs that will convert a Toaster
anim file to an ANIM 5. There is REND24 (PD/Shareware) that will
create an ANIM 5 from RGB files or as LW renders.
Brilliance is also real nice, with the animation features of dpaint, and a
24-bit version which will make HAM8 anims from 24-bit frames. The
interface is not as nice as dpaint, but at least it doesn't have pull-down
menus.
