#shapes of 48 states

Could anyone suggest a good source for the shape outlines of the 48 states. I would like a good amount of detail that would let me zoom into the Vermont/NH border.

Corel has the outlines of the shapes with a lot of detail — these can be imported using AI into 3DS. Also I believe all the state lft files are zipped up here on the board — check the files.

Corel Draw 4.0 or 3.0. CDROM has maps of whole world, states, cities, etc, exportable as EPS, AI, or even DXF. You need this thing.

Check out STATES.ZIP in DL9. I contains .shp files of all 50 states. I doubt, though, they have the detail you're looking for.
