Where can I get an Emplant for my A2000? I have an A2000 with 9MEGS
and 210MB drive. I also have an AMAXII. Do I need a 020, 030 / 040
board to have Emplant? What is the price for dlx version? Can
someone provide me with U.U.'s phone number & BBS number?
Emplant requires at least an 020, although an 030 is much preferred. However,
you'd best check with UU before buying to be sure that it will work in a 2000.
Emplant's earlier software had major problems using 16 bit RAM, and I don't
know if that problem has yet been cured. If you still need 32 bit RAM, then
your 2000 won't be much of an emulation. I had an earlier software version
with an Emplant which would simply not run in a 2000 which had both some 16 bit
and 32 bit RAM. The dlx version is $399.

I ordered mine direct from U.U. by calling the number in their ad, but
you can get them from Amiga dealers as well. You CAN'T get it from mail
order places since Jim has made a commitment to support dealers by not
selling Emplant through mail order channels.
