Hello to all, I know I have seen it out here somewhere before, but now that I need it I can't find it (so what's new). I need to show the ignition and complete burning of an automobile consumed by a gasoline fire. I could sure use some help and advice on some of the techniques being used to produce a fire with flames and smoke that is somewhat realistic. Are there any routines available or does anyone know of any good tricks? I would sure appreciate any type of answer on this. James

Heh heh heh — Fire! He said Fire! Heh heh heh. Sorry 'bout the B&B imitation. There are two or three examples of fire that people have uploaded to the forum library, and there are a couple animated maps on the r3 CD-ROM. Most people aree using animated texture/opacity maps with various pieces of the Yost IPAS Boutique routines (GLOW, RAIN, etc).
