Before I make my next purchase, I would like to bounce the idea off
the gurus here.
I currently have:
1-VT4000, 18Mb RAM 2GB SCSI HD w/4091 controller (leaves one open slot)
1-Panasonic AG-1970 SVHS deck
1-Sanyo GVR-S950 SVHS editing deck
2-TBC-IV w/remote control
1-Toaster Toolbox
1-TREXX Pro 2.1.1
1-486/50 PC, 16Mb RAM 2GB SCSI HD w/Adaptec 1740 controler, SB16 ASP w/MPU-401
1-Roland CM-32L MIDI synthisizer
2-MIDI keyboards
1-10 band stereo equalizer
1-Canon A1 Digital Hi-8 camcorder
I want to go A/B roll now. My dealer recomends I buy:
2-Sanyo GVR-S950 editing decks
1-Editizer 2.0 edit controller (PC/Windows)
1-Art Department Pro (Amiga)
1-Deluxe Paint IV AGA (Europe Version) (Amiga) ** Said he could get it cheap!
**
His price for the new stuff is $6,749.00 including setup, delivery and
all needed cables. I know this still does not allow me complete
control of my MIDI stuff for recording. Is he heading me in the
right direction? Is this price as good as he said it is? (Retail
$9,233.00)
Mike,
I don't know about the pricing part, but thought I'd point out that the
Editizer will allow you to automatically start a MIDI file playing at any time
during the edit, via a sound card in the PC…
