John, What kind of computer switchers are out there? Is there a cheaper way to do A/B rolls than say, the Video Machine Lite? I've been looking for something in between the prices of Video Director and the VM Lite, but have only come up with something like Studio Magic. But Studio Magic doesn't not have machine control, TBC, or A/B roll capabilities between two video sources. Any suggestions? Dacia

Dacia, There are a number of solutions. The FAST Movie Machine has two inputs where it could be used as a switcher. Something like a Videonics MX-1 stand-alone switcher combined with an Edit Controller like the Tao Editizer or Future Video V-Station may be a better solution depending on what you are trying to do. -John

John, Thanks for the input. I've been searching for this type of response in the Multimedia and Broadcast Pro forums without much luck. So glad I found, by chance, this forum. I will look into what you've suggested. Also, I got your messege regarding Studio Magic and will get back to you as soon as I can. Dacia
