#Framestore Saves
2 messages in this thread
John,
I may be a slow learner, but I can learn. You are absolutely right. I did not
do what Aki told me to do. I kept adding one step, that I though was necessary.
When I save an animation to be played back through the Amiga, I don't have a
single frame recorder or PAR, I know that I needed to name the framestore
number (000 – 999). I thought I needed to do the same thing for saving
Framestores.
This whole thing started when I just wanted to render the first frame of a
scene that I set up in Lightwave. There were no other frames, I just needed to
build a still picture and render it.
I now understand the difference between rendering to an ANIM and a Framestore.
Do I dare ask, what the PLAY FRAMESTORE button does. I tried using it to play
some animation (didn't work – wrong type of file) and I tried using it to play
(show) a Framestore (got the same error message).
My only fear, is by the time I figure out the program, the next upgrade will be
out. (g)

Play Framestore is used when loading and recording a series of frames to a
single frame accurate VTR. It cannot load animas, nor can it play frames
back in real time (30 frames/second) to record…
