Just received my Newsletter today … the new DIGIMAX sounds interesting. Can anyone comment on how it works? Upload a simple sample object? (not too big) Give verbal description of how long it would take and the process involved to do something like and apple or model car body?

MIke I doubt that anyone but me can make comment so I dont know how much you will accept my biased opinion. It is simple to make an object, and apple might take a few minutes a car, if you want it to look GREAT would take one hour or so. It is very easy to use, you just slap the object on a threaded rod, place it in the digitzer and go to work. I think the manual will be around 30 pages, most of which is just giving you some idea how to do things fast and with some degree of quality, I spent $10,000.00 for one that you needed to be a astro phys major to use and it had to be in a cedar encased room, so that metal objects would not divert the modeling effort, in short It made the process of making objects harder to do that it was worth., I waste the money. The Digimax does what I think computer products should do, it makes creating objects easier with it than without and its fast. Mike
