I'm new to Compuserve and computers in general. I am using an A3000 with A-Talk3 communication software. Yesterday I downloaded my first sof software program from compuserve. It was the autopilot program and it seems that everything went as it should have ( which I find is rare with Amigas )but so far I haven't been able to access the program to use it. What do I need to do to be able to use the AutoPilot program? When I click on the Icon I get a messege saying "unable to open your tool `autopilot'. What is wrong? Another problem I am having is in Compuserve itself. I often find myself at points where nothing works. This usually happens after I have asked for information and/or help from a directory. The screen starts to scroll very quickly and the ctrl-S keys don't stop it. When the screen finishes scrolling it becomes dead and will not accept any commands, at which point I have to hang up and call back again. Does anyone else have these types of problems, and what can I do about them?

Dana, I don't know how far you got with AutoPilot. Did you get it properly unpacked with LHA? Do you have the Commodore INSTALLER program set up on your system? (If not, you can download it from the libraries, but Steve has been reorganizing the libraries, and I'm not quite sure where it is.) Did you use the INSTALL icon to set up AutoPilot on your system? If you need help with any of these steps, do ask. —Betty
