Have Progressive Peripherals 040/28 board with 4 megs of 32 bit ram. Tried to
ad four more sims for a total of 8 megs. Wouldn't boot. Dark grey screen.
Took out new sims. Booted OK. Changed old sims for new. Would'nt boot.
Replaced original 4 sims only. Wouldn't boot. Oh boy! Changed jumper
configurations every witchway. It still wouldn't boot. Green screen. Found
that I'd cut trace. (pushed on board over screw) Soldered trace. Checked
continuity. Wouldn't boot with dark grey screen.
Before I kill myself, I thouught I'd ask if anyone has any ideas….like is
there someone who repairs PP&S 040 boards? Where can I get a schematic? Are
there any pals available? Should I have left well enough alone?
