Norm,
I wrote a review a few months ago on A-Max IV. (I am the Amiga Editor for
a Belgian magazine). A reader has remarked on my comment that 800K disks
won't work, and given a work-around. I haven't been able to try it, since
the card is still with my dealer friend, but what he says is:
In AmigaDos, use the DiskCopy function to copy the 800K Mac disk to the
hard drive. It will then be seen as a file. Boot up A-Max IV which will
show the file as a floppy disk icon, and can be used in the normal way.
Reverse the procedure for putting things back on an 800K Mac floppy.
What is not made clear is how A-Max IV sees the floppy-disk-file which is
presumably sitting in an Amiga partition.
