I can't seem to get the 3ds R2 to render at 752 X 480 and let me see the image on my vga monitor or on my targar 16 +.. When I use RD or RC drives it renders at 640 X 480.. Any help with this… Dave PS I will be using the PAR system and don't know if I need the Targa board to do this..

Dave, Nope you won't need the Targa board for this application. You also need to set your rendering display to NULL in order to get to the higher resolutions. Hope this helps, CT.

Chris, Can I get the image up on my VGA Moitor at rendering time. Now all I get is a blank screen. Dave

You wont be able to display the image to your VGA display during rendering, unless you have a board that will allow for 800×600 at 16+ million colors. If so, you can use the vibrant drivers to render to the higher res, and use 3d Studio's settings to toggle the image back to 752×480. You could then view the images as they are being rendered (but it takes more time to complete each frame). You could also display the image to the framebuffer while rendering, but I dont think the Targa board will reach the higher resolution of 752 that the PAR wants. Do you have the PAR on the system(s) you are rendering on? If So, just rendering the images directly to the PAR's framebuffer. Or you could just have a video post queue to load the completed image to the PAR framebuffer after each frame. Either method would work to see the images as they complete rendering (but not during rendering). CT.
