our RenderPrint software.
Prints from inside 3DS and / or prints standalone graphic file formats. Prints
TIF, TGA, PCX, BMP, JPG, and GIF formats. Has 5 different difusion dithers and
6 different pattern dithers. Great support for all of the Canon printers.
The secret to printing on an ink jet has to do with the fact the printer dot is
bigger than what the printer resolution shows. I.E. the BJC800 can print at
360 x 360 dpi. However the dot size is bigger than 1/360th of an inch. We
have a feature called dot saturation that allows you to adjust for the 'dot
gain'. You set it based on the image / paper / ink combination. This also
helps with the 'banding' that some of the ink printers display. Give us a call

I've been interested in your RenderPrint software for a while now. I just had
some info faxed to me. Some questions:
1. Included in the great support for Canon printers is there great support for
the Fiery interface for Canon color copiers?
2. Is the Windows version available yet?
3. Will the Windows version be able to batch print a pile 'o files unattended
as your DOS version does?

1. <<Fiery interface>> No, we have the specs but have not coded or tested
this mode yet.
2. <<Windows version>> Is in beta test as we speak and 'should' ship in
November.
3. <<batch print>> You bet! In fact the Windoze version is scriptable so you
can make up your 'batch' file external to RPW and then call RPW with the
script.

Thanks for the response. If you do include the Fiery/Canon printer combo in
your supported printers and you need a testor let me know, I'll be glad to give
it a workout. We currently run 6,000 color copies/prints per month. We are
currently investigating the purchase of two Encad Novajet III plotters. Does
RenderPrint support this new device? Will this unit be supported in the new
Windows version of RenderPrint? Good news on the batch printing. Thanks

<<need a testor>> Will do. Email me your company vitals such as mailing and
shipping addr's and types of apps and equipment available. Make sure you
include the Fiery/Canon on the list.
<<Encad Novajet III>> Not listed directly except we already support the HP
DJ650c's and the Encad Novajet III is using the DJ650c RTL, so you can use the
HP650c driver. We will add the Encad Novajet III to the menu on the next
build. Encad Novajet III will be supported in the RenderPrint for Windows
version.
