I just purchased an Epson ES300c along with your AdPro driver and cable
from a fellow here on Compuserve.
I have the scanner hooked up to my A4000/040.
When I try to scan I get the E-1 interface error. Nothing I do seems to
solve it.

Hi Norm,
Welcome to the ranks of frustrated ADpro to Epson 300 scanner users 😉
You have to turn off your copyback cache to use the scanner with Adpro. That's
the only way me and many others can use it.

That does appear to work 🙂 I am still getting some errors but at least I
can get it to scan.

Identical setup here, Norm. Turn that cache off and it works fine.
