Hi!
In our school lab we have a few 486 dx2/66 machines that are Novell certified
boards, but will not find the printer port lock for 3D studio version 3 … we
read the docs on this and have tried everything that the book suggests (ie.
putting a printer online at the same time)… still we cannot get it to
recognize that the hasp is on the parallel port … is there a fix for this
speed of computer?!… we are running it on a VESA machine, with a VESA i/o
card … we have also played with almost every combination of i/o wait states,
etc… (MR BIOS is the bios chip being used in these machines) … the machines
have 16 megs of RAM … is there any new hasps out that will run with the
faster machines or any possible fixes that anybody knows of?! It will still
run on our 486DX50's but not on these dx2/66's…
If anybody knows of a fix could you email on the InterNET if you have access
"jmochln.etc.bc.ca"?! or reply here and I will check in about a week or so…
