Dale, I have not tried to print envelopes with FinalWriter, but do it easily with ProPage, using both PS and graphicdump modes. Biggest problem with ProPage is it doesn't support envelope sizes in it's postscript prologue. For #10 envelopes the prologue goes to size B paper, so I have a predefined size B page with the #10 envelope layed out on it. Then when printer asks for a manual feed B sized paper, I feed it an envelope in the manual tray. I did notice when I first tried this the return address sometimes came out wiped out, so I feed the envelopes in the opposite way in my LJ4/M so the return address gets printed first. Since you have the 4MP with it's straight paper path, this should not be a problem. You see the announcement from HP on the two new lasers – 300 dpi COLOR and the 600 dpi LJ4V (print area up to 11×17). Just wiping the drool off the keyboard here… 73, Kelly

I personaly like color laser printers. I think they will become pretty popular in 2-3 years. The main question is, if you want to have an oil based engine or not. The HP Color Laserjet isn't and thus is only good for business application and such things. For images you should rather look for an oil based printer wich gives you much more brilliant colors. Well, that's that was my impression after seeing the Color Laserjet some months ago… It still isn't the "final" printer I'm looking for. I rather like the new QMS… — Wolf Faust, Am Dorfgarten 10, 60435 Frankfurt, Germany —
