#Graphic Lib problem

I recently downloaded "ShowDT" a file to view varous files (GIF, JPEG,
etc.) When I try to load the file my system tells me, "Unable to open
graphic library version 39." First off, why can it apparently not open
it, and, second, where can I find a replacement file in the event it is
defective. What would that file be called?

What version of AmigaDOS do you have? Library version 39 means 3.0.

ShowDT requires that you have datatypes (that's what the DT means).
Datatypes are a feature of 3.x.

The 'graphics.library' is stored in the KickStart ROM(s). It is the
library that interfaces the OS to the graphic chips.
Since ShowDT is asking for version 39.xx, it is asking for at least
Kickstart v3.0.
You will have to upgrade your computer's OS to get the updated library.

Thanks, Ron. If that is the case, I'll do without ShowDT. 2.1 has been
fine so far.
