#PAR still files
6 messages in this thread
I have the 1.267b release of the PAR, and I was wondering if there is a way to
convert multiple still files to .tga in one step? It seems I rendered an
animation to the PAR as stills, although I clicked the button under import to
read "Anim", it still saved them as stills. Anyway, I need to turn these stills
into .ani for the PAR. Is there a quick way to do this? Thanks.

I believe for now you're SOL. I understand you will be able to append stills
in a future version of the software but you're not able to do this yet in 1.3b

Jim:
I sorta' missed the beginning question so forgive me if I misfire. Could you
create an .ifl of your stills and rotoscope them into 3DS and send them out to
an .ani file on your PAR? You wanted to create an animation out of some
stills, right?

Bob hi. Somehow I saved a number of frames from a rendering to stills in the
beta version of the PAR (I did not know there was an even newer version out
yet, gonna download it) and I was asking how I could quickly convert them back
to an ani. Your suggestion would work, I would imagine, only I've already
converted each file to .tga then back to PAR .ani again. Sometimes learning
the hard way can be good.. I certaintly will be more thorough at checking the
renderings once they start 🙂 Thanks.

James- I've done the same thing, more than once. And converting them
is a mess. Don't feel bad…. You're not the only one who has done
this. -Mark
