Am I the first one in this forum?? Well, as you asked, I will leave a message with some information about me. I am German, living in Italy after two years living in California. I am pretty new to creating Videos on the computer, although I was always interested in it. I have a miro Video DC1 tv frame grabber card (German brand, very good ! ). It seems like I already have the first problem. I couldn't output my AVI videos on a VCR. I left a message in another forum and now it seems, I have to buy a converter. Hell, I don`t have any more free place to plug in any card. Please help. Someone told me that the external converters have less quality than the internal. Is that true? However, if you have some ideas (btw, I have a Trident Super VGA 8900CL video board) to help me, please reply. Thanks, Marc.

Hi Marc! You are not the first, but you are also certainly not the last either. There are lots of folks here using the Miro DC1 so hopefully someone can help with your questions. Welcome to the forum! -John

Marc, To print to video you must hit ALT-TAB to bring up your task manager, select the miro display option then select PRINT TO VIDEO and LOOP THROUGH (if you wish) This enables the output. I had the same confusion about mine but finally figured it out. Good Luck, John

Hi Mark >> I am German, living in Italy after two years living in California. << If you like German products take a look at the Video Machine. Your countrymen did a great job with it. BTW where abouts in CA. did you live?? Regards, Michael W. Towe Falcon Video Productions Santee Ca.
