Daniel, One thing that may be possible is to work in 320 x 200 with double the number of "frames" to create "fields". Then using some sort of composition functions, you would have to compose the even and odd fields together. I am kindof in a rush right now so I can't play with it but hopefully something along these lines will work. Let me know if you get anywhere or not. -John

Daniel, I've also been thinking about how to achieve Field Mode effects via ADPro for the PAR, particularly since getting a copy of MultiFrame, which is great at setting up the moves and fades, but needs Field Mode for smoother movement. I've been corresponding with Sam Morrocco at Prime Software about what would be needed (for MultiLayer V2.0) and as a result I have written an ADPro resident operator which (after approval by ERI) should help to provide the function you need. It works as follows:- 1) Composite a frame using X/Y co-ords appropriate for Field 1. 2) Call the FieldMode Operator (via GUI or ARexx) and select "Store". This saves Field 1 to an independent RAM buffer (not Temp). 3) Composite another frame using co-ords for Field 2. (eg slight movement from Field 1) 4) Call FieldMode operator again with command "ReLace". This replaces Field 1 of the main ADPro buffer with the Field 1 stored in the FieldMode buffer. 5) Save interlaced frame to PAR and repeat ….. Does this sound like what you want to do?
