Hi Wesley.
ToasterPaint will load IFF images and brushes of any size up to 752×480. They
can be any valid IFF format (from black-and-white to 24-bit). It will save IFF
images and brushes in the IFF24 (24-bit format) only. It can also save images
in the Framestore format, which is required by the Switcher for it to display
stills.
LightWave has the same conditions, except that the newest version (3.5)
supports Targa files for both load and save.
Using the READPICT and WRITEPICT utilities included with the Toaster, you can
load and save images that are in the PICT format, popular on the Mac and used
also on PCs. Of course, getting those images TO and FROM those machines is
another lengthy message entirely. You'll find info on this in the appendix of
the Toaster manual.
