I wanted to pass along some information which helped me and may be useful to you and others here in the forum. I was having a problem on my new Gateway system with a US Robotics Sprotster 144 Fax Modem. The problem was that DTS Phone would not hang up after I dialed the number and picked up the handset and clicked Talk. After experimenting with other programs (Borland Sidekick and Windows Cardfile) I found the fix. There is a replacement file for windows for workgroups' COMM.DRV called CYBERCOM.DRV (IBMCOMM Lib2) that solved the problem. From what I can tell, the WfWg COMM.DRV file allows 16550 support for receiving but falls somewhat short in supporting sending functions (basically) with the 16550. CYBERCOM.DRV addresses the problem. A note however, for Delrina users using WinFax Pro 4.0 – the CYBERCOMM.DRV has instructions that ask you to modify your SYSTEM.INI file (386Enh Section) setting the line COMxFIFO= to be 1 (COMxFIFO=1, where x=comm port). Delrina recommends setting this to 2, NOT 0 or 1. I've left mine at 2 as Delrina suggests, and I can fax fine, and OKNA hangs up fine. Now if I could get WinFax Pro 4.0 to read my phone book… <g> Any comments on the status for the next release (currently using 4.0c)???? Best, Tony

Tony, Thanks for the info. We'll pass it along to anyone else who has problems. Version 4.1b will be on our desks here by next week, and it will be posted and shipped by mid-October. Sincerely, Martine Carlson Okna Technical Support
