As of today Ohio Bell requires you to dial 1 + Area Code + number for all long distance numbers within your area code. Any suggestions on how to quickly handle this?

Robert, I had the same problem recently. An easy way to do it is by updating the Dialer. Choose File, Setup, Dialing Formats. Change 'Local+One' to 1-xxx-<LOCAL> where xxx is the area code. This should work as long as your numbers indicate Local+One in the Options for that number (Address Book, Dial, Options). Good luck, Michael

Robert, That's what I was going to say…:-) (thank you Michael) In the local+one section you can have 1<TEL> this will dial a 1 followed by the 10 digit number. Then for each record you need to dial this way select Dial/Options…and change the format from "default" to "local+one". Marisa, Okna Tech Support
