#Lens FX

As per your suggestion, I downloaded the Lens FX blur image.
Great!!!!!!
A couple of questions…
1) Can you set a distance to be in focus and everything else out of focus (ie
focus distance = 500 units, 0 to 450 out of focus (maybe an exponential curve
to sharp, 450 to 550 = in focus, 550 on out goes out of focus) like true depth
of field?
It would be nice to have more than one focus point (after all computers aren't
real world)
2)instead of distance, would it be possible to affect the focus on objects, (ie
2 objects next to each other, both are out of focus, slowly, one comes into
focus)?
3) How soon till we can see some examples of the other FX? (I'm really looking
for a good Lensflair)
Anyway, looking good

Hi David, With ZFOCUS you can manually type in a distance to be in focus and
use an envelope to change that value over time. You can also choose AutoFocus.
This will keep the area of the camera target always in focus. If you prefer,
you can focus on a single object and have it stay in focus during the entire
animation. There are different focus types depending on the type of scene that
you're working with. LenZFX should be out in early December with the lens flare
being the last of the four modules developed. I'll keep posting images as I get
them. David – Digimation
Answered my question before I even asked. Love this forum!
