it would be hard to model liquids and droplets (mercury, oil, water etc)
traditionally with polygonal geometry. Especially, hard to animate them and the
way viscosity and fusion affects them when they touch and seperate. Also, it's
good for organic characters, especially bendy, stretchy, muscular or fat "toon"
characters.
