Also check into turning your reselect off for that device…using
GVPSCSICTRL software inclued with your A4008…

worked for my DAT drive…

I have been informed by GVP tech that the NEC CDR210 does not completly follow
SCSI standards and therefor they do not recommend it for the 4008. They were
only able to get it to successfully boot about 90 % of the time. Better than
what I was getting but not good enough. I am going to see if I can get another
CDRom that is 100 % compatible.. I'll keep you posted.
