Note that many newer TVs do not allow any user adjustment of vertical roll and
you would find such a set unusable. Some PAL games will work ok in NTSC mode
with the bottom rows not displayed. Others will hang. Still others will cause
the vertical roll problem in NTSC mode. Life would be alot simpler in the games
adapted themselves. Team 17's Body Blows has an option to switch from PAL to
NTSC. Super Startdust by the same company does not. Dealers don't seem to know
in advance which games are NTSC and I have had to return a number of games due
to the roll problem. Since CD32 is an entertain- ment unit, it goes in the
living room. I am unwilling to relocate it or drag over an Amiga monitor just
to play these games.
