Regis, If I remember correctly you need to mount the CD-ROM drive on the Amiga prior to running the emulation. When you go to Devices setup where you would select your Amax hard drive partition you should find the CD-ROM device in the list view. You can then select it to be mounted (but not bootable). Then you need to go to the SCSI setup and I believe there are device gadgets on the left side ranging from 0 to 7. You need to check the one corresponding to the CD-ROM's scsi id. I think then when you run the emulation the CD-ROM will show up on the desktop. Now, I don't think you need Mac drivers for this arrangement. I think the Mac drivers are only needed if the device is a true Mac scsi manager device. However, I'm not sure about this because it's been quite some time since I used Amax IV and my memory isn't all that perfect. Give it a try. Now, I'm not sure about the device driver. Doesn't Amax IV do away with the need for the .amhd files? If not, then use the gvpscsi.amhd. You may need to get the most current driver, and I don't remember which version that is. I do remember that the version that came with Amax diskettes isn't the most current one. But I honestly don't remember if .amhd drivers were needed with Amax IV.
