I tried again to make my emulations working with CD-ROM CD300 Apple. I have the extension in the right folder of course. I tried to put it on GVPscsi controler with Amax IV and selected it with SCSI preference : the CD does not appears on the desktop,. Same proplem with empscsi.device. When I try with Emplant the CD is displayed, I can open it. When I tried to run the Quicktime module I obtain a message error 2 – restart. ( I translate from the french message ). For this last possibility I connect the CD to the SCSI Emplant of course ! I have choice data and instruction caches off too. Any idea ?

Regis; I have instruction and data caches turned on with my system, which I think is similar to yours, and the Mac emulation works well with my CDROM Apple 300?!?. Hank

May I ask why you have both Emplant and Amax? Do you prefer one to the other?

Now I don't prefer Emplant or Amax. The display with Amax is very nice, better than with Emplant ( on MY amiga ),because it is more smooth ( I believe that it is the right word ). The problem with Amax is to access to direct devices, with Emplant I can use my scanner on SCSI Emplant. For technical support UUI has a BBS and use Compuserve and Internet; Readysoft has replied to my fax…
