I am having a huge problem. I am trying to convert files between my Amiga and my IBM. I would save a file as a RGB in my toaster, but then the disk isn't recognized by my IBM. Then I would save a file as an IFF file on my IBM and the Amiga wont even recognize it. I even tried coverting the framestores to IFF files using Trexx Professional and I just can't seem to get it to work. I need to format each disk to get it to save the file in the first place, but when I try to switch files it does not work for me. I beg anyone to please let me know if I am doing something wrong. Ken

There is a fine Windows shareware program that can be downloaded from CIS called Paint Shop Pro. I forget which forum. It is from JASC, Inc, Minnetonka, MN (612) 930-9171. It is basically an image format conversion program that handles many different formats and platforms. I use it all the time between the Amiga and PC. The method I use is to take a FS into Art Dept Pro and save it as a JPEG file with a .JPG file extension. Then take the disk over to Paint Shop Pro which unpacks it, then save it as a TIFF or whatever. The program will also read Amiga IFF files if you can fit them on to a floppy. You can e-mail them at 72557,256. The program might be in one of the libraries in this forum, or one of the Windows or Graphics forums.
