Hi Oral,
I ran into the same problem yesterday. You might not be using the actual
Master Disk. The disk MUST be an original, not backup copy. My Liquid Speed
package had one disk that was version 1.0.0. This disk was serialized by
Vibrant at the factory. Later on, I had received an update disk, (with the
same label), which loaded L.S. version 1.0.2. The 1.0.2 disk installed over
the 1.0.0.
3D Studio R4 ships with another upgrade, 1.0.3 (again, same label), that
requires the very original, serialized disk. I tried my 1.0.2 disk and got the
same error message you're receiving. Luckily, I saved my original and
installed with that.
If you've only got one disk containing version 1.0.2, I can only think that it
may not have been serialized by Vibrant. Therefore, it's not seen as a Master
Disk. If you have further questions about verifying your disk, you might want
to contact Vibrant Tech.Support.
I hope this helps,
Bob
