has anyone had any dealings with this company, which offers Amigas by
mail order in the UK Computer Press? Any bad experiences, please

I know a lot about WTS. I worked for them while doing my work
experience for GCSE's. This was more than a year ago and at that time
their repair section was the worst I'd seen and heard of. I once put
an 500 in for repair and it took 1.5 months to get it back.
As for their mail order section I don't think this is too bad. This
was a year ago and at that time they are the last company in the
world I would be dealing with for both mail order and especially
repairs. I doubt they have got much better – but I could be wrong.

I ordered AmigaDOS 2.04 from WTS end of July, I was told it was in stock and
would be sent out within a few days. Those days ended up being months, after a
number of phone calls (which I assume speeded things up a bit ?) and then
everything except the ROM (lotta bl*#!$%&dy use) – the ROM arrived another
month later.
I leave it to you to make own judgement – I *won't* be ordering from
them again !
