Since my upgrade tp 4.0 hasn't come in yet, and I, in my never ending search for better performance, have attempted to use the ATI 1.0.5. drivers for 3dsr2. However, I've run into a problem. Is this driver not compatible with 3dsr2? I cannot seem to create 3dsadi.cfg. (I have the Mach64) mdawson

The Vibrant Drivers are not compatable with R2. Only R3 and R4. Sorry. -Brian

Brian, You don't mean that all Vibrant drivers are incompatible with 3dsr2, do you? Because I had one of them working on my 486 with a Diamond Viper. mdawson

The Vibrant Drivers were written for release 3, and take advantage of code written in the R3 executable. I would be surprised if they worked in R2. -Brian

You're correct, Vibrant makes (and sells) drivers for 3DS2. These are ADI drivers. Rel3 and Rel4 have a set of built-in drivers which Vibrant makes for Autodesk. These are not ADI drivers.

Nik, Thanks for the confirmation. I though I was seeing things. md
