#PVR vs. Targa 2000

Does it matter when the PVR can diplay all previews on a seprate video monitor?
Steve,
Sure does. The Targa 2000 can provide a 2-page 24-bit display for
desktop publishing applications. You can also use any Windows application, at
any valid res., and scan convert out to video for real-time recording of
application use or training. Additionally, any paintbox functions occur at the
same resolution and aspect ratio as the output (definitely a hardship with the
DPS products). Also quality sound recording and playback, always synced to the
video. Let me also qualify the above comments to point out that DPS cards are
flying out the door!

Do you sell any PVRs, and if you do do you have any in stock?
How much for 1 and how can I pay for it?

We ask members to conduct price discussions in email since this forum is
designed for software support. I'm sure Kevin will be more than glad to give
you PVR info in email.
Thanks –

Anne,
Gotcha, I'm aware of that so I reply with the little Private box checked
(Navcis) and I guess if you can read it well it's like saloon doors on
washrooms, not quite that private. I'll do my homework and open my manual.

Buy the way, you might have an answer to this one, How can I get a little hook
on the bottom of my "C" without it turning into a "G", Ditto for "e" with a
line on top tunrs into a "i"? Limited ASCII characters?

This forum doesn't have "private messages" enabled. I don't know what happens
when you try to answer with an autonav program and a message checked private.
Maybe it comes in public? Don't know. Also don't know how to do the text
manipulations you want but bet someone will and that they will answer.

Ann,
I may have messed up and I would like to give my regrets before you send me any
nasty mail regarding contacting people who have asked for information or
pricing on the PVR/PAR.
I'm an authorized Autodesk, DPS, IN:SYNC and 4D Vision dealer. We work with the
PAR/PVR a lot and have been providing sales/service for some time now.
Question: When I reply to a thread, does it post it back into this session? I
thought it went to thier address since it has it listed in the TO: section.
Wrong?
Sorry ahead of time if I'm wrong.
let me know.

When you answer a message to anyone while on the forum, it goes directly out in
public view though it is addressed to the TO: name <G> If you want to approach
someone concerning equipment or services you have for sale, leave the forum and
use EMAIL instead of forum messages.
Vendors can always use email or point discretely to a library file that you
have put up giving information on your company. Also you might want to read
AD_GUIDE.TXT in the Information Library which gives the rules for vendors on
line. Vendors are one of our great resources here and no one wants to "gag"
them but (and this is NOT directed at your posts) – members don't want a sales
promotion in every post from a particular vendor. The main purpose of this
forum is to support Autodesk products and dealers add a lot to helping members
get the best add ons and equipment to do so.
Off soap box <G>
