Hope somebody can help with my question ?!!. I have a video / audio clip that I've just successfully captured with PARVCR. I go into R.P. and add the new ".PRJ" file to my media bin – so far, so good. I drag the clip onto the composition screen. Now, when I play a several second preview …. I get no audio. Do I have to play everything through the media player in order to hear the audio ? Is there really no way to scroll through and hear the audio while in the composition area ?? I need to make some cuts to the clip and I'd rather not guess as to the real start / end times or follow mouth movements… not a very clean way of doing it. Something tells me there is probably a (very simple) way of doing this and I have (once again) managed to over-look it. T.I.A. C.U. Gary 🙂

Gary, You should get audio and video when you make a preview. Are you indeed "making a preview" ? If you just double click on the filmstrip, only the video will play — or only the audio if you click on the audio clip. But if you generate a real preview, once completed the "Razor Player" window should pop-up and the audio waveform should be visible at the bottom. When you hit play, both audio should run. If that audio waveform is there, you might check your software mixer settings — mine often get screwed up. You can also check your system out by just loading the Razor player and then loading/playing one of the sample avi files win the Razor examples subdirec. Alec Jason

Oh, I forgot to mention to check the little tiny "A/V" button in the Razor player (right next to the play button). It should show both the "A" and the "V" to get both audio and video. Alec Jason

Gary, To add a bit to the comments Alec suggested, you might try playing the .PRJ file in the Media Player to see if audio/video is working. -Mike

I think I know what might be going wrong Gary. You have to check your final output settings. Be sure you have set Razor output to .PRJ file and also be sure the AUDIO check box is checked. If you still have your output settings set to ANI Razor won't even consider rendering your audio, so double check you have it set to DPS .PRJ file. Give me a yell at insync if you still can't get it going. Eron tech support insync

I made a 640×480 flc which I'm trying to use in Razor but when I render it to the PAR at 752×780 the frames render look a bit squeezed. I know the aspect ratio between the two resolutions are the problem but when I try to set a proper ratio (762×560), the PAR will reject the frame. ("Cannot write to PAR") Is there a solution to the .flc to .ani conversion? Alec Jason
