Can anyone out there tell me the differences/ pros & cons of the MARS II vs.
Miro DC1 TV cards? Both were recommended to me for outputting 3ds animations to
tape, but I still have little info on either. Thanks.

There's a review in lib #6 of the MAR board called MARSRV.TXT. I am not sure
for which model it is for but it could give you some good info. One thing to
check between the two cards is whether you can render directly to them via 3DS
as you can with the PAR.

PMFJI…Both MARS and MARS II work with 3DS. MARS II, in fact, only works with
3DS (IPAS). MARS II looks very promising from the literature
Daewoo sent me. I don't know if MARS II will work on its own in the near
future. Daewoo has worked closely with Autodesk overseas.
There are supposed to be more brands of encoder and decoder boards
coming out since the price of the chips dropped recently.
