I have still been having problems trying to use the vib3ds.zip program. I heen able to unzip and install the program sucessfully, but I get the "cannot be used with DOS/V error2 when I try to actually run the program. Please let me know if know why this is happening. Is the program supposed to run with DOS/V? I would appreciate any more advice that you may have. -Darin Friedmann

After you unzip the files, copy them to your 3ds4 subdirectory overwriting the existing files. Then type: 3ds vibcfg If your error happens at this point, someone at Autodesk will need to help you out as I have no idea if 3D Studio is compatible with Dos/V or not.

Darin, Are you really using DOS/V (the Dos for Japanese PCs)? If so, you'll need to contact our Japanese distibutor to purchase the In-Line driver that supports QVision 2000s in that environment…. however you should have the QV2000 that Compaq distributed in Japan as that we have only tested DOS/V – QV2000 with that board and it is diffenent from the QV2000 sold in the U.S. – Rob P.S. Our Japanese technical distibutor is Technocare, they can be reached at +81 462 52 8688, if you ask for Murata, he speaks english. – Rob
