I need a simple tool to edit AVI files that demonstrate how to use portions of
an application. The files will be placed in a Windows 95 help file.
Will animator do it for me? I've tried Corel Move without success.

If it's pure video editing you want Adobe Premiere is the industry standard.
Gold Disk's Astound has a no frills editor as well. You can probably find
astound at Egghead for about $100.00.
