Fargo sent me a postcard with an unusual offer, it seems to me, which is not interesting to me, especially at this time. The PrimeraPro can be purchased with a 14 day No-Risk Trial period. This version of the printer claims to have a full 8.5"x11" print area (which would mean it requires larger size paper since the picture shows a wide border on the print). I cannot recall a trial on a piece of hardware but perhaps I just don't recall. A returned printer would have to be classified as used, it seems clear to me. If you are interested anyway, this would seem to give you the greatest possible flexibility in a purchase. Just in case anyone in interested (and did not get the card): Fargo Electronics Inc. I own a Primera Pro and think it's a great printer. The paper and ribbons come in 2 types. Wax xfer and Dye sub. The ribbon cartridge and paper is sold as a set. The Dye sub cartridge and paper is rather expensive but the output is fantastic. You an also get Tshirt transfer paper if you want to 'wear' your greatest graphics creation <g>.
