What is the problem here?? I am trying to morph surfaces between 3 maps (all same US maps), from one to two (1-60f) it morphs the side surface. That it does my friend. Next I want it to morph to 3rd map surface which the face surface changes and the side surface remains the same. Simple eh? Well hows come it will morph to the second map but not to the third? It is setup like this: usa1 morph surface to usa2 1-60f, usa2 morph surface to usa3 61-90f. I just can't seem to get it to happen and I have done this before but after the lobotomy…..I give up for tonight I've bigger fish to fry. Meaning I'm too burnt out to go on.<G> thx jmb

John: I have know idea what program you are using to create your morph. However, I know that in LightWave, curent versions (3.1 at least, I haven't done this in a while) do not morph past the first target. Why? I don't know. When I last talked with NewTek they told me that they would tell Allen about it. I forgot to ask him myself when I saw him last. There is however a simple work around. Insted of surface morphing, use Object disolve. The Surface morphing routines do not actualy MORPH they just disolve following the envelope you set up. Brad Hayes Hayes Visual Communication

Hi guys! I'm neither an owner nor a user of LW but it seems that a solution would be to create your animation scene and save the scene twice, once with the first morph set up and the second with the second surface morph or if posible just save the first morphing frames to one scene and then the rest as a second scene file. It may be a little inconvenient but it should produce the end effect you want. Hope this helps.
