#reboot program?

I am in need of a standalone program that will cause a warm boot when executed.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and it would be perfect for my needs if
only it rebooted without the requesters.
You see, My primary drive (Western Digital) does not spin up fast enough to
cold boot from. I can boot from my stock Seagate drive but then the WD drive
doesn't mount up. If I make both disks bootable, the Seagate will try to boot
first only because the WD drive isn't spun up yet. I figured that if I booted
off the Seagate and had a reboot command in the startup file, the second boot
would be off of the WD drive as I want and I wouldn't have to manually reboot
all the time.
Any ideas of another program or how I can disable the requesters on "reboot"?

I've never used the one here, so I don't know about the requestors. Darn…

Gotcha! Ok…I've got a file here (on my computer) that is a hack I grabbed
off of Usenet. I don't remember who wrote it, and I certainly cannot guarantee
its integrity, but, it works on my A2000/040 under OS 3.1 and hasn't caused any
damage (that I know of) yet….

I have no idea how to disable the requestors. But, if you want the hack
I've got (it's tiny, 48bytes) I can uuencode it and send it to you in Cmail, or
file attach it to you. Again, NO guarantees, it could eat your hardrive for
all I know (this is why I haven't uploaded it to the Forum). Your choice! 🙂

Juan Ferrin just sent me a reboot program that works perfectly (this one is 84
bytes)! Thanks for the offer and help but it looks like I'm all set now.

Reboots the computer…that's all, no requestors, no nothing. As I said it
was a quick and dirty program I grabbed off of Usenet. I use it every once in
a while and haven't had any problems…yet….:)

I had left a message a while back describing the same problem with my HD "not
spinning up fast enough" with no reply as to a "fix".
This sounds like a "fix" for me. Could you (or Juan) please upload this 84
byte hack? I'd surely appreciate it!

Maybe you can use the "reboot" program from Workbench3.1 its located in the C:
directory of the Install3.1 disk.
