You would have to split it into more than one partition ( I thing the partition limit is 2 gigs ). There might be a limit on the size of the disk as well, if so then there is a patch that allows you to treat each 2gig of the disk as separate disks. I cannot remember if I saw the driver on the internet or cis ( unfortunately my access to aminet at the moment is broken because my harddrive is very poorly). Phill

I have an Atlas 4.3GB running on my Amiga. I actually had the same question as you here on CIS 1-2 months ago. But I got no response here on CIS. The first problem I had was getting HDToolBox work right with a drive bigger than 2GB. While the partition window in HDToolBox seems to handle the drive right, a soft format will proof you wrong. A 1GB partition suddenly was just 340MB in size. I do know that FFS can't handle paritions bigger than 2GB, however, I can hardly remember a comment from Randell saying that the latest FFS released was changed in order to work with 4GB partitions. However, there is also a comment that they were not able to verify the stuff. I never did any tests on this. Anyway, I don't need a single 4GB partition… but I do want to use my 4GB drive completly. So, I ended up in checking out other programs to write a proper RDB. And yes, the problems partitioning a 4GB drive are caused by HDToolBox. Using a different program for writing the RDB solved my problem. I now have 4 partitions… How are your experiences?
