Dear Asha,
due to the time of the last conference it was 09.00 pm it would be in Germany
next day(monday!!) about 04.00 am I was not able to visit this conference.
Normally I would suggest to move the conference to Saturday, because the most
persons here in Europe dont need to work on Sunday.
BTW do you have a summary(or capture) of the confernce last Sunday, because I
am very interested in this topic.

I'm aware that the Sunday conferences are rather late for the European
crowd. That's why we started the Saturday ones. It is up to the vendors as to
when they want to schedual their conferences, and so far, all of the ones I've
contacted want to do it on Sundays.
But we do have Saturday conferences (5:00pm EDT). The problem is, we're not
getting many Europeans (maybe one or two) attending them.

Yes, I do, but it needs to be edited some before I can upload it. I will
try to get it done soon, but my time has been overloaded recently. I haven't
even edited/uploaded the Soft-Logik conference yet and we've got another once
schedualed (with NOVA) for the 22nd….

I understand, but I am sure that it will more than on Sunday if the con-
ference is held on Saturday. The problem is that only products are interested
which are available in Europe and e.g. there is no translation of PageStream
3.0 available here in Germany.
I am looking forward for your uploads of both conferences, the Soft-Logik and
the PAWS. Thanks in advance.

Actually there have been two conferences per weekend for the last month or
so, and I'm getting more Europeans attending on the Sunday CO's than the
Saturday ones (even if both are general conferences). What do you think about
Friday conferences?

The fact that on Sundays CO's are more participants from Europeans than on
Saturday is for me inexplicable. I think that Friday would in my humble opinion
a better day for the conference than Sunday(espcially for the Europeans), but
you will have maybe less participants from USA and Canada.

Doesn't make sense to me either, but there you go…:)
If there is enough of a request for the other conference to move to Friday,
I'll do that, as Saturdays don't really seem to be working. Since there will
also be the confernce on Sunday it doesn't matter that not many North Americans
may participate in the Friday one.
This week, I'll do the Saturday conference (as well as Sunday). I really
need to get a sense of what you (plural) users want, so if you (again plural)
have any input on this issue, please try to attend this Saturday so we can
discuss it in real time.

his group playing blues and boogie in an intimate cafe setting and perhaps
partaking of the odd glass of wine. <g>

Ok…I'll be here as usual on Saturday, but Friday's are looking better and
better…… Maybe next week's will move to Fridays. I will announce it
if/when there is a change.

There is 5 hours differece between EDT and GMT not taking into consideration
any summer time (EDT is Eastern Daylight Time, which will change to Eastern
Standard Time [EST] at the end of the month). I don't know who, over there
gets summer time (I know the UK does and they change back a couple of weeks
prior to the U.S.), so you may have to adjust an hour one way or the other
(this is where I get confused). Hope I haven't managed to confuse you…:)

by the end of the month seven hours ahead of the US east coast (is EDT/EST the
time used in New York?).

No, I think it's 5 hours now. If you have summer time, it'll be six hours
for a few weeks until the U.S. goes back to standard time too, when it will be
five hours difference again. And yes, EDT/EST is the time used in New York.
It's Eastern Daylight Time and Eastern Standard Time.
