Were are you located? Some of the initial shipments of A1200's have been reported as sold out, but all the reports seem to be from Germany or UK. Hank Videology, Inc Where you always get P.O.M.P. and Service under all circumstances

Since Escom bought a UK chain, they are probably distributing through them. The chain was Rumbelows. Don't know if they changed the name, though. Hank Videology, Inc Where you always get P.O.M.P. and Service under all circumstances

They took over some of the rumbelows shops and turned them into escom shops. Rumours of amigas being sold or not being sold in the escom shops keep surfacing. Currently the word is that they won't be. Phill

Castle Computers, a small independant retail outlet, in Lancaster have both standard and HD A1200's in stock Peter Hill flying Tornado @ 14400 on AutoPilot 1.8 over the English Lakes

I have no idea, I haven't seen any trace of amigas in the uk yet, except for mail order adverts, they advertised as soon as the release data was announced because of magazine deadlines etc. Phill

Alot of companies are offering hd/non hd versions, whether the hard disks come from at though is debatable. I think at were using 170mb disks but you can buy a1200's with 540's already ( well they are advertised anyway ). Phill

Probably cheaper to do it that way, especially if AT are going to honor the waranties in that case. I haven't seen anything about waranties at all yet, I guess there is no offsite waranties like CBM UK used to supply Phill

Now that you mention that, there was no notice of a warranty on the two product flyers I have. Neither the A4000T nor the A1200 indicate that there is a product warranty period. Maybe SMG, the major importer for the US, will be offering warranties since they did the warranty work previously for CBM.
